The SMHW48V is a 48,000 kg wheeled handler for loading and unloading at rail yards, ports and industrial sites. It suits bulk material, scrap steel and general cargo, and it travels at up to 20 km/h, so you can move it between work areas without a float.
An Isuzu 6HK1 makes 212 kW, with 1080Nm at 1500rpm. Reach and working height both go to 16.5 m depending on the boom and stick setup. A single grab lifts up to 4 tons, for 150 to 520 tons an hour. Dynamic anti-rollover protection keeps watch on stability as you work.
