About the SMHC50V-D
The SMHC50V-D is a 50,000 kg electric crawler handler for bulk and scrap work in ports, recycling yards and steel mills. With no diesel engine on board, it works without exhaust emissions, runs quieter, and skips engine servicing.
An XEMC motor gives 160 kW with soft start, on a 380V / 50Hz supply. Kawasaki pumps deliver 2×297 L/min. Reach is 13.5 m and working height up to 15 m, and a single grab takes up to 4 tons. SANY claims hourly power costs up to 65% lower than a diesel machine.
