About the SMHC45V
The SMHC45V is a 45,000 kg tracked material handler for recycling yards, ports and steel mills. It moves bulk cargo, scrap steel and timber, with a choice of boom and stick setups to match the job.
The Isuzu 6HK1 produces 212 kW and 1080Nm at 1500rpm. Kawasaki pumps deliver 2×320 L/min. Reach is 13.5 m with working height to 15 m, and the grab takes up to 4 tons, for 120 to 260 tons an hour. Auto idle and multi-speed control reduce throttling losses, and anti-rollover monitoring keeps it stable.
