About the SMHC70
The SMHC70 is a 70-ton tracked material handler for large bulk transfer at steel mills, industrial terminals and inland ports. It can run on diesel or on an electric motor, so you choose the power source that suits the site.
The diesel side is a Cummins QSL8.9 rated at 264 kW, and the electric motor gives 250 kW. Reach goes up to 21 m and works up to 19.5 m high, depending on boom and stick. A single grab carries up to 6 tons, and SANY rates it at up to 5000 tons a shift.
