About the SY980H
The SY980H is a 94-tonne mining excavator for open-cut mining, quarrying and big earthmoving jobs. It suits operations shifting large volumes of rock and spoil, including deep excavation work, where a smaller machine would be the bottleneck.
Power comes from a Scania DC16 diesel rated at 425 kW, with 2450 N·m of torque, feeding a Kawasaki hydraulic pump. The hydraulics are set up to cut fuel use while keeping cycle speed. The undercarriage is reinforced for harsh ground, and a live monitoring system reports on machine health so you can plan servicing before a fault stops you.
