About the SY550HD
The SY550HD is a 51.2-tonne heavy-duty excavator for quarrying, mining and large demolition. It is the tougher sibling of the SY500H, built for high-impact work where durability matters more than versatility.
Compared with the SY500H, it gets a beefed-up frame, boom and arm, plus a heavier undercarriage with thicker track shoes for better stability and wear life. The extra weight adds digging force and lifting capacity. Power is from an Isuzu 6WG1 at 300 kW and 1950 Nm, with Kawasaki pumps flowing 2 x 360 l/min.
